While I was involved in a wide range of design work, including graphics, editorial, characters, and illustrations, I wanted to create original characters that would make people smile, so I started drawing them. I spent my childhood in the friendly downtown area of ​​Tokyo, and the love I received from the people I’ve met is the origin of my work, so the concept naturally became “LOVE”.
It depicts the characters playing with each other without discrimination based on race, gender, age, or other prejudices, and the love that shows they need each other in their daily lives. The established method for depicting such innocent characters is to use acrylic paint on transparent acrylic board. Since the surface is painted with lines and the back side is colored, when the light hits it, the drawn lines create shadows, which makes it look very impressive.
Since the material is transparent, this art work will have a completely different atmosphere depending on the color and texture of the wall. Please feel free to try out different things depending on your mood.

グラフィック、エディトリアル、キャラクター、イラストなど幅広くデザインの仕事に携わる中で、見た人が笑顔になれるオリジナルのキャラクターを生み出したいと思い、描き始めました。人情のある東京・下町で幼少期を過ごし、これまで出逢ってきた人たちから受けた愛情が制作の原点だからこそ、コンセプトは自然と「愛（LOVE）」になりました。
そこには種族や性別、年齢などといった偏見による差別がないキャラクター同士のじゃれあいや、過ごしている日常の中でお互いがお互いを必要としているような愛情が描かれています。そうした無垢なキャラクター達を描くために確立した手法が、透明アクリルにアクリル絵具を使って描くこと。表面に描線、裏面から色面を塗っているため、飾った際に光が当たると描線が影となり、それがとても印象的に映ります。
素材が透明なので飾る壁の色や質感によっても雰囲気が全く異なる作品に仕上がっています。気分に合わせてぜひ色々試してみてください。
